A historic moment for Texarkana.
The Texarkana Airshow holds a special place in this community. This is the first airshow Texarkana has hosted in 30 years, and the team behind the event has gone all out to make sure the comeback is spectacular. Held at Texarkana Regional Airport (TXK, at the old terminal), the main event day is Saturday, June 27th, with pre-show festivities beginning the evening before on June 26th. The event is managed by Schultz Airshows, with Air Boss David Schultz at the helm, ensuring a world-class production from start to finish.
Beyond the local excitement, the Texarkana Airshow is also the designated America250 event for the Texarkana area. America250 is the nationwide initiative commemorating the 250th anniversary of the United States, and having an airshow as Texarkana’s anchor celebration is a fitting tribute to American aviation heritage, military service, and national pride.

A biennial tradition.
The Texarkana Airshow is not a one-time event. It is designed to become a beloved regional tradition, held every two years on even-numbered years, starting in 2026. In the odd-numbered years, the Barksdale Defenders of Liberty Air Show in Bossier City, Louisiana takes the stage. That means the ArkLaTex region will have a major, world-class airshow to look forward to every single year, alternating between two great cities. It is a huge win for aviation fans and families across the region.
Aerial performers.
The sky above Texarkana Regional Airport will be filled with jaw-dropping aerial talent. Opening ceremonies will feature the US Army Golden Knights alongside Undaunted Airshows, accompanied by the national anthem. The full lineup features vintage warbirds, high-performance aerobatics, military demos, and formation flying.

There is also a pre-event concert at Harley Davidson on the evening of June 26th to kick things off. The main stage music lineup on airshow day is:
- 12:00 PM: Heather Linn & the Deacons
- 1:15 PM: Cam Allen
- 2:45 PM: Wade Bowen
Beyond the sky: all day attractions.
The Texarkana Airshow is so much more than planes. From the ground up, the event is packed with activities, competition, food, and fun for every member of the family.
Run the Runway 5K – 7 AM.
Start your airshow day early with the Run the Runway 5K, kicking off at 7:00 AM on June 27th. This unique race takes runners right onto the airport runway, the same runway that will host the airshow later that day. All proceeds benefit For the Sake of One, a nonprofit supporting foster, adoptive, and kinship families in the community. Registration is available at the official airshow website.
Outlaw BBQ Competition.
Get ready for some serious barbecue. The Texarkana Airshow hosts a state semi-annual barbecue competition sanctioned by the Champions BBQ Alliance (Outlaw BBQ Association). Pitmasters from across the region will bring their best brisket, ribs, and secret recipes for two full days of smoky, delicious competition. BBQ booths will be set up for both June 26th and June 27th.

Harley Davidson Bike Show & Ride the Runway.
Rev up for the Texarkana Harley Davidson Bike Show, featuring custom paint jobs, chrome, and two-wheeled artistry from local and regional riders. - Book parking in advance: Parking passes are available ahead of time. Plan to park at the Four States Fair and ride the shuttle to the airshow at the airport.
- Bring ear protection: Jet engines are loud, especially for little ears. Ear muffs or foam earplugs are highly recommended for young children.

- Sunscreen, hats, and water: You will be outdoors for several hours in late June. Come prepared with sun protection!
