Hello. Thank you so much for visiting my ArkLaTex Adventures. My name is Nichole and I am a content creator, writer, influencer, and homeschool Mom based in the Texarkana Area. While originally from Iowa, I’ve been happy to call the ArkLaTex home for the past ten years. We are a family of four (plus a giant dog) who love adventures of types, especially outdoor pursuits. Exploring and finding hidden gems is our speciality. We aren’t afraid of calling a three hour drive a day trip. We have homeschooled our children from the beginning of their education. I started our adventure journey when my children were an infant and a toddler. Our family lives in every corner of the country and homeschooling gives us the flexibility to travel and see them. My personal Instagram page started gathering attention in 2018.

As a creator, my journey has been full. I’m thrilled to share that I’ve been published in books from Wild + Free, available at major booksellers including Amazon. I’ve been on the Executive Team for Run Wild My Child since 2019. The wildly popular Ginny of 1000 Hours outside had me as a guest on her podcast. My other website, Luckey Wanderers, for our homeschooling and other endeavors continues to do well. I’ve had successful paid partnerships with many area tourism boards and collaborations with short term rentals. I’ve also worked with unique places to stay, and many outdoor brands. It’s been an incredible journey, for which I am grateful. ArkLaTex Adventures is a passion project for me. My goal is to connect my audiences to all of the fun things to do in the Four States area.
