5 Places to See Christmas Lights in Texarkana
Are you wondering where to see Christmas lights in Texarkana this year? I’m happy to help. One of my family’s favorite traditions is to hop in the car with some hot chocolate and head out to look at Christmas lights! This post is a local (that’s me) approved list of the best places to see Christmas lights in Texarkana. It also has a few of our other favorite places for Christmas photo ops in Texarkana. Nothing brings out the holiday spirit quite like sparkling Christmas lights. So, whether you’re loading up the kids in pajamas, heading out on a festive date night, or just looking for some hometown magic, here are five of the best places to check out.
A custom map for you.
Several years ago, I started a community based map to share the best Christmas lights in Texarkana. Others have added to it as well and it’s a great collection of places to see Christmas lights in Texarkana. Use it to navigate while you’re enjoying hot chocolate and driving around. Tap the link below to check it out.
Texarkana College Christmas Lights.
One of our other favorite places to see Christmas lights in Texarkana is at Texarkana College. Each year they put up a simple, but very fun, light display. It’s free and you can drive through on your own, just follow the signs and please be mindful of students and other traffic.
Pine Street Forever – Christmas Edition.
Do you remember that epic and amazing Halloween display on Pine Street? Well, they’re back! They also do an incredible Christmas display! It’s usually ready by mid to late November. Add it to your list to drive by and enjoy.

ArtSpark and Art Wall.
Did you know that the Texarkana Regional Arts and Humanities Council manages the greenspace and park next door? The ArtSpark park is next to the Regional Arts Center. It always has a fun Christmas lights display. Bonus, if you also stop by in the day time you can see the holiday themed art (done by elementary students) on the Art Wall.
Perot Theatre and Texarkana, Texas Courthouse.
If you head downtown in the holiday season, you’ll see several great spots to see Christmas lights in Texarkana. Every year the Perot Theatre decorates with a classic Christmas tree on the awning roof and beautiful wreaths in the windows. It’s understated elegance and just really fun to see the theatre decked out for the holidays. Not far away, the Texarkana, Texas courthouse has lights and decorations too. They’re spread across the front grassy lawn. You can see them easily from your car and they’re worth driving by.

Lesley Lane.
This is in a neighborhood just off of McKnight Road, in Texarkana, Texas. There are two houses marked on the map linked at the top. One of them has amazing inflatable Christmas decorations. The other has lights timed to music. Both are very fun and should be on your list for a holiday drive.

A few things to remember.
When you’re enjoying the Christmas lights in Texarkana, please remember that many of these places are peoples homes. Do not walk through the displays unless there is signage saying that it is allowed. Please respect private property. Everyone who puts up these displays invests time, effort, money, and care into creating something special for everyone to enjoy. Let’s help keep them special for many years to come.
